Benefits
International Major Entrance Scholarship (IMES): up to $10,000 – $20,000/year.

Eligibilities.
Applicants must be new to UBC, entering directly from secondary school or post-secondary (university or college).
Applicants must be international students who will study at UBC on a Canadian study permit (student visa).
Applicants must demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and strong extracurricular involvement.
For the International Major Entrance Scholarship (IMES), applicants must not be nominated for the need-and-merit-based International Scholars award.
For the Outstanding International Student (OIS) Award, applicants must not be nominated for the need-and-merit-based International Scholars award.
Deadline The application deadline is November 15, 2025 (11:59 p.m. PST).
