
Summary
The MTN Foundation established the MTN Scholarships Program in 2010 as an annual initiative to recognize and support high-performing students in Nigerian public tertiary institutions. The program awards scholarships under three categories:
MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (MTN STS): for 300-level students studying Science & Technology-related courses.
MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (MTN SBS): for 200 & 300-level blind students studying any course.
Top 10 UTME Scholarship: for the ten highest-scoring candidates in the UTME.
Benefits
Each recipient will receive a N300,000 annual scholarship.
The scholarship covers tuition, books, and other academic expenses.
It is renewable annually until graduation, provided students meet grade requirements.
Eligibilities.
The eligibility criteria include:
Applicants must be Nigerian students enrolled in public tertiary institutions (Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education).
MTN STS: Open to 300-level students in Science & Technology-related courses.
MTN SBS: Open to 200 & 300-level blind students studying any course.
For blind students studying Law (a five-year course), only 300-level students are eligible.
